Profile

Shady Agwa received his BSc and MSc degree from Assiut University, both in Electrical Engineering. In 2018, He got a PhD in Electronics Engineering from The American University in Cairo (AUC). In 2019, he joined Cornell University as a postdoctoral associate for two years. In 2021, Shady joined the Center for Electronics Frontiers, University of Southampton as a senior research fellow. Shady is interested in exploring different topics that span VLSI and Computer Architecture including emerging technologies, energy efficient digital design, resilient microarchitectures, in/near-memory computing and stochastic computing.
