Udari De Alwis received her Bachelor’s degree in Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. After graduation she served in the position of research engineer in SYNERGEN Technology Labs, a USA based startup from 2014 -2018. There her research work was basically in IoT enabled wearables for physiological parameter analysis. Currently she is working as a Research Engineer while pursuing her PhD degree with the Green IC group at NUS. Her current research focus is on optimizing deep learning algorithms for on-chip and edge machine intelligence.
