Profile

Gabriel P. Lachance is a PhD student in bioengineering at Université Laval in Québec City in Canada.

After receiving his Bachelor's degree in physics in 2017, he went on to work on a multidisciplinary project in optical engineering and environmental sciences under the Sentinelle North initiative for his master's degree. After his graduation in 2020, he started a multidisciplinary project in bioengineering for his PhD research. 

His current research interest includes optics, photonics, bioengineering and chemistry. Those skills are the basis for his research which is aimed at the detection of neurotransmitters using ultra-stable gold nanoparticles.
