Profile

Riya Paul received her B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim, India in 2017. She is currently working towards her Ph.D. degree at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, US, where she has been awarded the Doctoral Academy Fellowship. She is a recipient of the Best Paper Award at iMAPS 2021 for her work on a metal-clad thermal pyrolytic graphite-based baseplate.

Her current research interests include development of wide band gap power electronics packaging with integrated passives and gate drivers.
