Biography
Zachary Cochran was born in Noblesville, Indiana in 1998 and received dual B.S. degrees in electrical engineering and physics from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, Indianapolis in 2020, and has been an IEEE student member since 2018.
He actively performs research in the areas of solid-state device physics, condensed matter physics, and nanodevices, focusing primarily on graphene-based transistors, memristive/meminductive systems, superconductive device applications, and parity-time symmetric electrical systems to simulate quantum behavior macroscopically.
As of the summer of 2020 he is an incoming M.S. student in electrical and computer engineering at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, focusing on studying hybrid superconductor/graphene nanoribbon transistor technologies for potential, high-speed applications.
