Danilo Pani is Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Vice-Director of the Dept. of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Cagliari, Italy. His research interests are in the field of advanced digital processing of bio-signals and medical devices. Main achievements regard fetal ECG, biopotential electrodes, wearable electronics, real-time neural signal processing for motor neuroprostheses, telemedicine and telerehabilitation systems. He is author of more than 110 indexed publications, 5 patents, and received 6 awards in conferences and industrial challenges for his scientific research. He leads the MeDSP (Medical Devices and Signal Processing) lab at the University of Cagliari, Italy.
