    Abstract

DoMoMEA aims to overcome the limits of the conventional rehabilitation approaches in order to guarantee accessibility to all patients by proposing a fully-wearable m-health solution able to administer a supervised neurorehabilitation therapy in the patient\'s home. DoMoMEA employes a set of wearable inertial and force sensors, connected to an Android device, used for the quantitative analysis of the movements executed by the patient during rehabilitation. The exergaming approach and the provision of different biofeedback increase user’s engagement reducing drop-outs. Moreover, the DoMoMEA system supplies scalability to the tele-monitoring thanks to a store-and-forward technology combined with a real-time link.
