Profile

Fabio Boi received the M.Sc. degree in robotics engineering in 2012 and the Ph.D. degree in robotics, cognition and interaction technologies in 2016 from the University of Genoa, Genoa, Italy. He is currently a Post-Doc in the Microtechnology for Neuroelectronics Laboratory of Luca Berdondini at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (Genoa, Italy). He previously worked in development of closed-loop brain machine interfaces on behaving rodents. In that framework he consolidated its background in engineering and electrophysiology. His current research is mainly focused on development and validation of high-density CMOS neural probes for in-vivo application.
