Profile

I am Xi Chen, a PhD candidate at the Institute of Neuroinformatics, University of Zurich and ETH Zurich. I majored on integrated circuits design and was studying high performance computing and hardware acceleration at Imperial College London. Then I joined the Institute of Neuroinformatics in 2018 and have been working with Prof. Shih-Chii Liu and Prof. Tobi Delbruck. My current research focuses on developing hardware architectures for on-chip training of recurrent neural networks on edge devices.
