Profile

Nik Dennler has obtained a B.Sc. in Physics and a M.Sc. in Neural Systems and Computation, both at the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich. During the scope of his Master's thesis, which he performed in the lab of Prof. Giacomo Indiveri, he investigated on the analysis of vibration data using spiking neural network and neuromorphic circuits. Prior and during his studies, he has gained experience while working in various industrial research labs, such as at Sensirion AG, at the Sony Aerial Robotics Lab, and at IBM Research - Zurich. Currently, he is a dual PhD candidate at the University of Hertfordshire and the Western Sydney University, where he investigates on Neuromorphic Olfaction.
