Saptarsi Das received Bachelor in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University (Kolkata) and Master of Science (Engg.) from Indian Institute of Science (Bangalore). He graduated with a PhD from Indian Institute of Science. Currently he works for Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (Bangalore) and conducts research and development in the area of accelerator design for neural network applications. He has published multiple papers and authored patents in the broad area of applied cryptography, reconfigurable computing and hardware accelerators for neural network applications.
