Biography
Ja Yol Lee (M’08) received the B.E. degree from Konkuk University, Seoul, in 1998 and the M.E. and the Ph.D. degree from Chungnam National University, Daejeon, Korea, in 2000 and 2005, all in electronics engineering. During the period of working toward Ph.D of 2001 – 2011, he had developed many RFIC circuits as an IC design engineer with ETRI.
From May 2012 to July 2013, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Since 2014, he has been with ETRI, where he has been working as a principal RF & Analog Circuit Engineer. His research interests are PLL, RFIC, MMWIC, and OEIC for wireless and wireline communication. He is the author and co-author of over 40 technical papers and 10 US patents in RF and analog integrated circuits.
