Biography
Chai Wah Wu received the B.S. Computer Engineering and B. A. Cognitive Science degrees from Lehigh University, the M.A. Mathematics and the M.S. and Ph.D. Electrical Engineering degrees from the University of California, Berkeley.
He is currently a Research Staff Member at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in New York. He has published over 200 peer reviewed publications and is the co-inventor of 76 issued patents.
His research interests include machine learning, digital halftoning, image processing, dynamics in complex networks, and multimedia security.
He is a Fellow of the IEEE and an INFORMS Certified Analytics Professional.
He was the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Circuits and Systems magazine and an associate editor of IEEE TCAS-I and he is currently an ABET-EAC commissioner.
