Biography
Josep Maria Sánchez-Chiva (1989, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain). He received the B.Sc. in Telecommunication Engineering, M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering, and Ph.D. degree from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in 2011, 2014, and 2020 respectively, where his research topics included the design of low noise readout circuits for CMOS-MEMS accelerometers and CMOS-MEMS Lorentz force magnetic field sensing devices and readout circuits and systems. From 2012 to 2013 he worked at Broadcom as Analog Design intern, and from 2018 to 2020 he joined Nanusens as ASIC Design Engineer, where he designed circuits for CMOS MEMS/NEMS-based products. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratoire de Recherche en Informatique (LIP6) of Sorbonne Université, where he is working on integrated power converters for piezoelectric transducers. His research interests include MEMS sensors, low-noise readout circuits, integrated low-power analog circuit design, and power converters for energy harvesting and remote powered devices.
