Dr Nazila Fough (FHEA, MIET, SMIEEE) is IEEE YP UK & Ireland Secretary and IEEE YP R8 Corresponding Member. She is also a Lecturer in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in the School of Engineering at Robert Gordon University. Previously she worked as network engineer in telecommunication and internet network industry for 6 years. She is CISCO certified instructor in school of engineering, teaching network configuration and troubleshooting. She has a PhD in telecommunication with focus on real-time video communication, a MSc in control systems and a BEng (Hons) in electronic engineering. Her research interests are on area related to real-time multimedia communication, under water wireless networks, image processing and smart control system. Her expertise and skills are in data network protocols, congestion control in data network, wired and wireless communication, smart control systems, object detection, image coding and processing.
