Abdelrahman is a Ph.D. student in the electrical and computer engineering department at the University of Rochester. He is currently working on the physical modeling of electronic devices and designing electronic systems of hybrid emerging technologies with CMOS. His research interests include modeling emerging technologies such as superconducting electronics, magnetic tunnel junction, silicon photonics, and 2D-material based devices. Abdelrahman is interested in bridging and connecting between the technology development groups and silicon designers and he has work experience with the physical design team at Intel Corporation.
