    Hailong Jiao received the Bachelor degree from Shandong University, Shandong, China, in 2004, the Master degree from the Institute of Microelectronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, in 2012.

    He served as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in the Electronic Systems group with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Eindhoven, The Netherlands from September 2013 to January 2017. He was with IMEC, Leuven, Belgium as a part-time Visiting Researcher from February 2015 to January 2017. He has been an Associate Professor in the School of Electronic and Computer Engineering, Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School since January 2017. He is also Visiting Assistant Professor with the Electronic Systems group of TU/e.

    Dr. Jiao’s research area is low-power and variations-resilient VLSI circuit and system design. He has interests in ultra-low voltage circuits, low-power robust memory circuits, error-resilient systems, approximate computing, and machine learning in VLSI. He also has interests in emerging devices and circuit techniques, such as 3D integration, carbon electronics, and flexible electronics.
