Biography
Yuval Bistritz received the B.Sc. degree in physics and the M.Sc. and Ph.D.
degrees in electrical engineering from Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv, Israel, in
1973, 1978, and 1983, respectively.
From 1979 to 1984 he held various assistant and teaching position in the
department of Electrical Engineering, Tel AvivUniversity, and in 1987 he joined
the department as a Faculty Member. From 1984 to 1986 he was a research
scholar in the Information System Laboratory, Stanford University, Stanford,
CA, USA, working on fast signal processing algorithms. From 1986 to 1987 he
was with AT&T Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill, NJ, USA, and from 1994 to
1996 with DSP Group, Santa Clara, CA, USA, working on speech processing
algorithms. His is recipient of the 2015 IEEE Vitold Belevitch Circuit and System Award "for
innovative and improved variants of classical algorithms for
stability testing and signal processing and for a major contribution to
the stability theory of multidimensional systems".
