Kailash Prasad is a PhD Scholar in the Discipline of Electrical Engineering at nanoDC Lab, IIT Gandhinagar working with Prof. Joycee Mekie. He received his B.Tech. Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology Arunachal Pradesh, India in 2018. His research interest includes Approximate Computing, CAD tool design and SRAM Memory Subsystem Design. His awards and honors include the Merit Cum Means Scholarship (NIT Arunachal Pradesh), the Chairman, and Institute Gold Medal (NIT Arunachal Pradesh), and Start Early Ph.D. Fellowship (IIT Gandhinagar).

He has also been awarded Intel India Research Fellowship 2020.
