Arys Carrasquilla-Batista

Education: BSc in Electronic Engineering (1995), MSc in Computer Sciences with a major in Telematics (2001) and Doctorate in Engineering (2019) from Costa Rica Instituto of Technology (Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica- ITCR).

Faculty member: Full Professor in Mechatronics Engineering Department at ITCR.

Research expertise: Development of electronic devices with Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities applied to agriculture, microalgae culture, forest monitoring, climate change, greenhouse horticulture, rehabilitation devices, remote access to robotic systems, among others.
