    Saikiran joined Iowa State University in Fall 2019 as a Ph.D. student in Dr. Degang Chen’s research team. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a Master’s degree in Wireless communication – both from IIT Roorkee, India. At IIT Roorkee, he received the Undergraduate Research Award for his research work on Underlap FinFETs and Annual Excellence award for overall performance in academic and co-curricular activities. His work on novel devices is published in IEEE-EDL, IEEE-TED etc., and he also received a patent for his work on Silicon-nanowire devices at IIT Roorkee.

    Before joining ISU, Saikiran worked for Texas Instruments for 4 years primarily focusing on the design, validation, and production testing of automotive and industrial transceivers. At Texas Instruments, Saikiran received TI Global Excellence Award consecutively for 3 years. In addition to this, Saikiran worked as a research trainee at ST Microelectronics and served as an Intern at Robert Bosch and Texas Instruments. Currently, his primary research interests are analog fault detection, precision circuit design, and dynamic calibration circuits.
