Profile

Iago Storch (S’17) received the B.S. degree in Computer Engineering and M.S. degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), Pelotas, Brazil, in 2019 and 2020, respectively. He received the Best Undergraduate Student Research Award, granted by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), in 2018. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Porto Alegre, Brazil. His research interests include algorithms for accelerating and exploring parallelism in video coding applications, and the encoding of light field images.
