Garrenlus de Souza is a Computer Science Undergraduate Research Fellow at UFRGS. He`s been working with Computer Architecture in the field of Video Coding technologies since its second semester in university. His interests revolve around Computer Architecture, Programming Languages (design and implementation), Product Engineering (management, design, manufacturing, marketing, sales and operations), Game theory, Reinforcement Learning, Algorithms & Applied Optimization, Web3 (Peer-to-Peer,DeFi, Hybrid Contracts, Cryptocurrencies), Microeconomics, Computer Graphics & Autonomous Systems. He's the leading researcher in the Web3 Gang research group and had published internationally several times in the field of Digital Signal Processing, with enphasis in Processing In Memory and Near Data Processing applied to the field of Video Coding technologies.
