Profile

Sayan Sarkar received a B.Tech degree in electrical engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India, in 2016.  He is currently working as a Ph.D. candidate in Electronics and Computer Engineering Department at HKUST. After his undergraduate education, he worked briefly in Coal India as an assistant manager. His research interests include wireless power transfer technology, analog, and mixed-signal design, implantable medical device, wearable electronics etc. Before joining HKUST, he co-founded “WECARE MEDSERVICE LLP” for the improvement of primary healthcare in India and emerged as the winner in top business-model competitions in India.
