Biography
Fabián Olivera (Member, IEEE) was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. He received the bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from the University of the Republic (UDELAR), Montevideo, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil, in 2013 and 2017, respectively. He is currently a Full Professor with the Federal Center for Technological Education of Rio de Janeiro (CEFET/RJ). He is also a Professor with the Postgraduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPEEL) and the Postgraduate Program in Instrumentation and Applied Optics (PPGIO), CEFET/RJ. He is a Visiting Professor with the Postgraduate Program of Electrical Engineering, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (PEE/COPPE/UFRJ). Since 2009, he has been working in the field of microelectronics. His research interests include analog and mixed-mode integrated circuit design for ultra-low-power applications.
