Biography
Ariana Musello is an Electronic Engineer with a subspecialization in Computer Science Engineering. She graduated from Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) with a 4.0 GPA in 2022. Since May 2020, she is a Research Assistant at USFQ’s Instituto de Micro y Nanoelectrónica, where she has worked on circuit design with novel topologies, solid-state nanopores, and spintronic devices. She has co-authored three research papers, one of them published in MDPI’s Electronics Journal. She was also part of the team that designed Ecuador’s first VLSI microchip. She is interested in science communication and interdisciplinary approaches to the fields of electronics and programming. She was Chair of the IEEE Student Branch in USFQ during 2021, and Chair of IEEE’s Women in Engineering (WIE) group in USFQ during 2020.
