    Bio

    Meriem Bettayeb received her bachelor’s degree (with first honor) in computer engineering from the University of Sharjah (UOS), United Arab Emirates, in 2017, and received her master’s degree in computer engineering with honor from the same university in 2019. Currently, she is pursuing her Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Khalifa University, United Arab Emirates. She is also working as a teaching and research assistant with Khalifa University on the co-optimization of machine learning algorithms and memristor-based in-memory computing (IMC) for internet of things (IoT) devices. Her research projects focused on investigating the popular algorithms used for artificial intelligence (AI) applications and mapping them to efficient hardware implementations. This includes exploring data reuse, data preprocessing, and the usage of the memristor crossbar architecture.
