Profile

Michael M. Y. R. Riad was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1994. He received the B.Sc. degree (Hons.) and MSc in electrical engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, in 2018, and 2021 respectively. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo. From 2018 to 2021, he was working as a Teaching/Research Assistant with the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University. From 2019 to 2020, he was working with Siemens EDA as a course developer and trainer. His research interests include microwave sensors, FTIR spectroscopy, and machine learning.
