Profile

Yasuhiro Takashima received his B.E., M.E., and D.E. degrees in electrical and electronic engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1993, 1995, and 1998, respectively. 

He had been a research associate in the School of Information Science at Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology from 1998 to 2003. 

He had been an invited researcher with the Kitakyushu Foundation for the Advancement of Industry, Science and Technology from 2003 to 2005. 

He had been an associate professor at the University of Kitakyushu from 2005 to 2021.

Since 2021, he has been a professor at the University of Kitakyushu.

His research interest is in the combinatorial algorithm using mathematical programmings, such as integer linear programming or quantum computing.
