Associate Professor Dr. Asral Bahari Jambek is a member of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), and was a Programme Chairperson for the Electronics Engineering Degree Programme, UniMAP. He has more than 20 years experience in very large-scale integration (VLSI) circuits and systems design in both the industry and academia. Currently, he is actively researching new techniques to minimize energy consumption in portable system-on-chip design with focus on low energy algorithms and architectures for data, image and video processing application.
