    Max Wang (S’ 15) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA, USA, in 2015 and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA, in 2017, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Prof. A. Arbabian.

    During the summers of 2012 to 2014, he worked at Caltech investigating antireflection coatings for solar cells, The Aerospace Corporation researching carbon nanotube transistors, and Intel validating high-speed I/O blocks. From 2014 to 2015 he worked with Prof. A. Hajimiri at Caltech, where he helped design a wireless power transfer system. In 2018, he was with the Pixel Team at Google, Mountain View, CA, USA where he investigated and designed a high frequency wireless power transfer system. His research interests include wireless biomedical devices, drug delivery systems, electromagnetic and acoustic fundamentals, and integrated circuit systems.

    Mr. Wang was a recipient of the Stanford Graduate Fellowship and the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship in 2015.
