Profile

Gourav Datta received his B.Tech degree in Instrumentation Engineering with a minor in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2014. He then joined the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Southern California where he is currently pursuing a PhD degree. He interned at Apple Inc. and INRIA Research Centre in the summers of 2019 and 2017, respectively. His research interests include energy-efficient hardware architectures for emerging beyond-CMOS device technologies. He believes that the right integration of these devices with the right architectures can fetch stellar benefits in system level performance. He is a Student Member of the IEEE.
