Dr. Kim received his Ph.D. in biophysics from the School of Applied and Engineering Physics at Cornell University (2008-2013), and received B.S. in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Hanyang University (2005-2008). He previously worked at Stratos Genomics Inc. (now Roche Diagnostics) and UC Berkeley as Sr. Electrical Engineer and Postdoctoral Fellow, respectively. He is currently an assistant professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Central Florida. His research interest includes high-density neurochemical sensor, bio-inspired computing, and point-of-care molecular diagnostics.
