Dr. Hossain obtained his Ph.D. in EE from the University of North Texas in 2020. During Ph.D., he worked on the novel 2D material-based opto-electronic and photovoltaic devices. His current research as a postdoc involves developing a transparent polymer skull with embedded miniaturized optics to map the dynamic activity of the whole cortex at cellular resolution. Additionally, he is also working on developing a 2D material-based, stencil fabricated μ-ECoG array for multi-regional brain signal mapping and recording. His research contributions have been demonstrated in several high-impact journals.
