Profile

Shen-Fu Hsiao (M’93) received the BSEE from National Taiwan University, Taiwan, in 1985, the MSEE from National Chiao-Tung University, Taiwan, in 1987, and the Ph.D. degree from Yale University, USA, in 1993. Since 1993, he has been with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan, and is currently a Professor. In 2002-2003, Dr. Hsiao was a research fellow in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was a visiting scholar in Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Washington, Seattle, from Aug. 2007 to July 2008. His research interests include computer arithmetic, 3D graphics processor, VLSI design, digital signal processing, and multimedia processor design.
