Profile

Radu Matei received the B.S. degree in Electronics in 1994 and the Ph.D. degree in 2002, with a thesis on applications of nonlinear networks in signal processing, both from “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iaşi, Romania. He is currently a Lecturer with the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, teaching Electronic Circuits, Electronic Device Modeling, Synthesis of Electrical Filters, and applications of Signals, Circuits and Systems and Advanced Signal Processing Techniques. He is also a researcher with the Institute of Computer Science of the Romanian Academy, Iaşi Branch. His research interests include filter design, signal and image processing and neural networks. He is the author of three book chapters and more than 90 journal and conference articles.
