Taha Soliman received B. Eng. (Hons) from Cairo University computer engineering department then Joint M.Sc. (Hons). degree in electrical engineering specialized in embedded computing systems from the University of Kaiserslautern, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and the University of Southampton in 2019 with a focus on embedded AI hardware design and implementation. Since 2019, he joined RobertBosch GmbH in the research division, mainly focusing on embedded Machine Learning, where he pursues his Ph.D. degree in cooperation with the University of Kaiserslautern. His research interests include emerging technology-based machine learning architectures, processing-in-memory, and approximate computing for DNN acceleration.
