Biography
Md Farhadur Reza is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science in the School of Computer Science and Mathematics department at University of Central Missouri (UCM). Prior to joining UCM, he worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and at George Washington University. He earned his PhD and Master of Science degrees in computer science from the Center for Advanced Computer Studies (CACS) department at University of Louisiana at Lafayette in Dec 2017 and May 2014, respectively. He attained his Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 2005. His research interests include interconnection networks, high performance computing architectures, parallel and distributed computing, resource allocation, and machine learning/artificial intelligence. He has published twelve peer reviewed conference and journal papers, such as ACM GLSVLSI, IEEE ICCD, IEEE ISCAS, and ELSEVIER MICPRO. He was awarded the title of A. Richard Newton Young Fellow from the ACM/IEEE Design Automation Conference in 2014. He has seven years of professional working experience in telecommunication and software industries.
