Biography
Jinyong Kim received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Seoul, Seoul, South Korea, in 2011 and 2013, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering with Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR, USA. From 2013 to 2017, he was an analog circuit designer with LG Electronics, Seoul, South Korea, where he focused on mixed-signal circuit design for high-speed wireline communication systems. In 2017, He joined Dr. Matthew Johnston's Sensors and Integrated Microelectronics (SIM Lab) at Oregon State University. He has held an intern position at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, NY, USA, in 2020. His research interest is to bring novel electronic platforms to applications in chemistry, biology, and medicine.
