Biography
Markus Robens received the Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees in electrical engineering and information technology from RWTH Aachen University, Aachen, Germany, in 2006 and 2014, respectively. His doctoral research concerned the specification and design of low-noise components in the receive path of an M-sequence based ultra-wideband system as well as their characterization.
In 2012 he joined the Central Institute of Engineering, Electronics and Analytics: Electronic Systems of Forschungszentrum Juelich GmbH as scientific employee. There he was involved in the development of integrated RF amplifiers as part of the readout electronics of photomultiplier tubes as well as the design of a digital signal processor for an indoor localization system. Currently he is concerned with the conception of network simulations as well as the exploration of certain network components.
