Ahmad Reza Danesh is a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), CA, USA. He was the recipient of the UCI EECS departmental fellowship in 2019 and 2020. His research interests include the design of low-power high-speed analog, digital and mixed-signal integrated circuits, VLSI circuits, data converters and biomedical circuits and systems. During his academic studies, he worked on designing high-speed digital image processors based on on-chip architectures and also on designing ultra-low-power level-crossing analog to digital converters for biomedical and internet-of-thing applications. Furthermore, he worked on designing voltage multipliers, charge-pump DC-DC converters, and high-voltage level shifters. His current research focuses on designing low-power high-performance implantable biomedical circuits for brain-computer interfaces including brain signal acquisition front-ends and brain stimulators.
