Profile

Carolina received her MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Coimbra and the KU Leuven in 2015. She is currently pursuing a PhD on the topic of sensory feedback in prosthetic limbs at the school of engineering of Newcastle University. During her PhD, she has been testing and developing neural interfaces for recording and stimulation of peripheral nerves. Carolina has recently completed a 1-year internship at Galvani Bioelectronics where she worked on the characterisation and testing of neural interfaces.
