    Gabriel Galeote-Checa received the B. S. degree in Biomedical Engineering with specialization in Bioelectronics in July 2018 at University of Malaga, Spain, and the M. Sc. degree in Mechatronics with specialization in signal processing and electronics in January 2020, from University of Glasgow. During his bachelor, he received a prestigious international scholarship at Incheon National University in South Korea where he was involved in the school of bioengineering carrying studies of biomaterials and nanodevice engineering. He is currently pursuing the Ph. D. in Micro-nano electronics at the National Center of Microelectronics of Spain at Seville, owned by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and University of Seville (US).

    During the MSc at Glasgow, he was part of the Microelectronics Laboratory (MeLAB) led by Dr Hadi Heidari. During his collaboration with this laboratory, he carried out the design, modelling and fabrication of a brain implantable device using Wireless Power Transmission Techniques (WPT) and flexible electronics. The research was supported by the €8.4M EU H2020 FET Proactive “Hybrid Enhanced Regenerative Medicine Systems (HERMES) project. He has published 2 journal papers as the first author on international journals and 2 peer-reviewed conference papers as the first author.
