Bio
Asfand Tanwear (M.Eng) is currently a PhD candidate within the University of Glasgow, his Research interests are in Bio-magnetic field detection, spintronic sensors, Tunnelling magnetoresistance, wearable magnetic sensors, and Magnetoencephalography. He is in collaboration with the spintronics department within the INL - International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, to develop wearable magnetic sensing technology specialising in detecting weak magnetic field from the body. Funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), UK studentship fund, his supervisors include Dr Hadi Heidari, Dr Aleksandra Vuckovic and Dr Rami Ghannam.
