Bio
Andreas Herkle received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in information technology from the University of Ulm, Germany, in 2014. His thesis was on design and analysis of embryonic field programmable circuits on embedded systems. From 2015 to 2020, he was a research assistant under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Maurits Ortmanns at the Institute of Microelectronics at the University of Ulm, Germany. His main research areas include improved circuit primitives for analog PUFs, custom mixed-signal PUF implementations robust against environmental and noisy influences, FPGA PUFs and PUFs embedded in existing mixed signal electronics.
