Profile

Theodoros is in the final year of his undergraduate studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Democritus University of Thrace. His research interests focus on future and emerging computing systems and technologies, including memristive circuits and systems and artificial intelligence technologies. As an active IEEE volunteer, he is, currently, a coordinator in the Virtual Speakers Bureau Initiative of the IEEE MGA Student Activities Committee. He has served his local IEEE Student Branch for many years through several positions - including the Chair one - distinguishing it as Exemplary twice. He has received a bronze medal from the SEEMOUS Mathematical Olympiad, an honourable mention from his Department and two distinctions from IEEE Region 8 Educational Activities Committee. He has served as a coordinator in the 10th Panhellenic Electrical and Computer Engineering Student Conference and chaired the 5th IEEE Hellenic SYP Congress.
