João Paulo Cardoso de Lima is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.

He received his B.S. in Computer Engineering (2016) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, and his master's degree in Computer Science (2019) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.

João Paulo has a background in high-performance computing, reconfigurable and novel computing architectures, such as processing-in-memory.

Currently, his research interests include applications of memristors, lifespan and reliability issues of memristive technology, and architectural design and CAD tools aware of these issues.
