Jorge Iván Canales-Verdial received B.S. degrees in biomedical engineering and mechatronics engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC), San Pedro Sula, Honduras, in 2016 and 2017 respectively, and a M.S. degree in electrical engineering from The University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM, USA, in 2020. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM, USA.

His research interests include neuromorphic computing architectures, as well as analog and digital high-performance and low-power VLSI circuit designs.
