Clemens JS Schaefer is a PhD student at the University of Notre Dame in the Intelligent Microsystems Lab under the supervision of Dr Siddharth Joshi. He received an MSc in Computational Finance from the University College London. His current research focuses on spiking neural networks and their energy-efficient application to computer vision. His research interests include biologically inspired machine learning, few-shot learning with spiking neural networks and neuromorphic computing platforms.
