Mr. Alex Lackpour is a PhD Candidate in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the USA. His PhD dissertation is on the topic of intelligent spectrum sharing between competitive and collaborative RF systems. His research is guided by Professors Kapil Dandekar (ECE Dept) and Geoffrey Mainland (CS Dept). He is currently a full time technical advisor to the RF Management Division of the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), specializing in spectrum sharing between Federal radars and commercial radio networks.
